January 5, 2014: Guest homilist, Venerable Steve Hopkins, spoke to us about his experiences at St. Christopher’s with developing a “discernment, holy-conversation process” that explores ways “to let God get some traction with us.” He gave examples of how hearts, minds, and even behaviours of participating parishioners have changed.
Dec. 29, 2013: in this homily, Rick introduces the question we will embrace over the next few months: what can we do that we’re not doing now that will help make us a more faithful, vibrant, and vital community in our re-sized and beautifully renewed home? E.g., what are we going to be? What do we want to be? What is God calling us to be? Who are our neighbours? How do we relate to our neighbours? And so on….

Watch as our dear friend and long-time parishioner Mary Margaret Pocius is announced as a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. It all happened Sunday, February 10, 2013, at St. Paul’s before the 10:30 service. David Christopherson, Member of Parliament for Hamilton Centre, a politician who knows Mary Margaret and St.Paul’s well, made the presentation. Congratulations, Mary Margaret! We love you!
